Ambulatory Phlebectomy

Ambulatory Phlebectomy (also referred to as Microphlebectomy) is a minimally invasive surgical technique used to treat varicose veins that are close to the skin. During this procedure, tiny nicks are made in the skin (less than 3mm or 1/16 of an inch) over the varicose vein. Our vein expert will use a tiny hook to remove the damaged vein through this tiny opening. The procedure itself usually takes less than an hour.

Recovery is rapid with patients promptly returning to normal activities following the procedure. Most patients experience little to no discomfort with excellent clinical and cosmetic results.
